Is this Iran - 2 Hunters and 2 504s would suggest so? Therefore Paykaan. |

Iranian Revolution was 1978. |

Are the other cars (Opel Rekord A, Citroen Dyane, Peugeot 504 and the -Iranian made?- US-Chevrolet (far right foreground) worth to mention? |
◊ 2011-11-02 22:59 |
Err, it's only one 504 on this pic ![]() |

The Dyane was Iranian made indeed. It has a different (cut-out) rear fender ![]() (In my opninion it would surely deserve its own page, as we only have one Jiane (in pick0-up version) until now... ![]() |

@dynamike - I love the Morris Minor-inspired estate in your link. I'll support your campaign for a page for the Jiane if you support mine for the Rapier H120 at /vehicle.php?id=416590 . |

Yes, that 'Woody' is very cute, indeed... Btw.: /vehicle.php?id=416590 ![]() |

Wow - an Iranian Jiane with that incredibly distinctive rear arch cut-out. Excellent find and deserves its own page (but the Paykaan has to stay too, so no swapping titles). ![]() |

@dsl: is it a Vauxhall on the right? Link to "www.ebay.de" For a plate-collector it's a very interesting photo, as the Ponton-Benz has the 1956-only "I" in its number ![]() |

@Ingo: I don't see why your question is right here... But the car on the right in your link (with a Danish plate?) is a 1959+ Ford Consul Mk.II [205E], I'd say ![]() |
