Looks like VW Passat I.

Not the Passat.
The front is less curved, the windscreen wipers mounted closer to the screen, the air vents further away and the dashboard is different.

Wikipedia says that the Aleko's design was largely copied from the Simca 1307:
Quote The car originated as a front-wheel drive proof of concept, based on foreign models. In late 1970s Moskvitch bought about two dozens of compact cars built by different automakers, and thoroughly tested them. French and Swedish cars were favored for their utility and reliability. The final decision was made by the Minister of Automobile Industry, who chose French Simca 1307 as the best candidate for the Russian market.

Engineers modified existing Moskvitch engine to front-wheel drive layout and fit the drivetrain into the Simca. After the tests competed successfully, it was decided by the management to copy Simca 1307 bodyshell almost entirely, starting from the A-pillar. While this decision helped to cut the development costs, it came as an insult to engineers and designers, who had their own mock-ups of future car ready. The morale of the staff had been damaged, and Aleko never became the beloved project among Moskvitch engineers.

Aleko is a make of its own.
It was sold a couple of years in Holland.

Yes, according to Wikipedia article it is either Moskvitch 2141 or Aleko 141, depending on the markets.
In this case (Hungary), was it considered as domestic or not?

Quote
As seen, the Moskvitch realized several interesting prototypes during the years '70s. Unfortunately, the team of Moskvitch's engineers was sadly forced by the Soviet government to copy simply the Simca "1308" (Car Of The Year 1976) for the final production car: one of the usual limitations to the Russian capacities...Indeed, the early drawings (first pic above) were not bad, with a modern front part, but the definitive version was equipped with more usual grille and headlights. Finally, in the 1986, the "2141", or "Aleko" for the export (second, third, fourth and fifth pics above) was launched. The "2141" has the front wheel drive, but with the engine fitted forward the front axle, longitudinally: also some Western cars uses this solution (the driveline of "2141" is the same of the Audi 100), that, anyway, is not ideal to obtain a good stability, with the weight balanced all on the front. The design, as said, is similar to the Simca 1307/1308, but, indeed, only the windows are in common with the French car.

Alternative names of the original car and modifications (wikipedia)

Aleko 141 (for foreign market)
Moskvitch-2141 (for domestic market, in Latin alphabet)
Москвич-2141 (for domestic market, in Russian alphabet)

So I think it should be Aleko 141.

Also known as Lada Aleko in some countries (Germany?), in Poland as Moskvitch and Lada, so not in all foreign markets it was Aleko only.
