At least a 2002 model, as indicated by the updated A-pillar assist handles. The Triton V8 badge hints that one of the Triton modular V8 engines is lurking under the hood. All Triton engines are tuned to produce mass amounts of low end torque, ideal for towing & hauling applications. |

Was only the 4.6 available in the XL, excluding the 5.4? |

The driver's side grab handle came in 2000 for the F-150. 2003 for the E-Series* ... Confused the passenger pillar on the E-Series for driver's side. 1999: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/28759297-58.html W/ VIN 2000: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/59478629-29.html New evidence shows Ford changed the style of the grab handle midway through 2002. Some Regular Cab have the old style. 2001: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/45282668-9.html -old style 2002: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/29600023-16.html SuperCab - old style 2002: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/33802336-17.html SuperCab - new style 2003: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/68771831-11.html Regular Cab - new style 2003: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/68631041-30.html SuperCrew - new style Now it could have been a trim level difference in 2002 but that is the first year for the new style. -- Last edit: 2019-11-04 15:05:19 |
