I looked at that and thought it looked like a David Brown from the 1960s. Maybe it is something built in India under another name using the old D-B dies etc - much like the 1950s Massey-Ferguson 35s that were (are?) built in Eastern Europe somewhere (is Romania or?). -- Last edit: 2011-01-01 19:17:37 |

It's probably an export David Brown, as at the time 80% of their tractors were exported. The Fergie clone you mention was the IMT 533, built under MF licence in Beograd, Yugoslavia. /vehicle_42139-IMT-533.html |

A Satoh tractor can look like a little David Brown, but it's questionable this is a Satoh. This looks bigger than a Satoh. -- Last edit: 2012-11-09 01:29:24 |

This is NOT a David Brown. It looks like a 1970's / 80's HMT Tractor. - A State owned tractor company. -- Last edit: 2014-03-20 20:36:35 |

I don't see an HMT tractor that looks like it. |

Agree , don't think this is a David Brown , India was making all its own tractors in this era. |
