Ford_Guy ◊ 2010-12-27 23:14	It is an authentic LASD unit, but I can't see how it would have to be a 1988 since the department used the Caprice 9C1 throughout it's entire 10-year run.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page for a few: http://policecarwebsite.net/fc/capdcars/lasd.htm The LASD was a faithful Chevy buyer for about 20 years for their sedans, starting with the Nova 9C1 and ending with the 1996 Caprice. The only gap was in 1984-1985 when they purchased the Ford LTD after the discontinuation of the Malibu 9C1.
