1969 20M P7b I'd guess.

Due the double rounded front lamps it's rather a 26 M.

Were these cars not badged as "Taunus"? There are some listed as "Taunus 12/15/17/20M" but there are also simple "12/15/17/20/26M" cars on this site.

No, the P7a and P7b weren't named Taunus. It was rahter the predecessor of the Granada, while the smaller Ford's, so 12M, 15M and 17M, were followed by the Taunus [TC1].

O.k., it's not really stringent and logical, what Ford has made back then. In the 50ies 12M was the basic and smallest version, the 15M had the same body, but a better interior and a stronger engine. In 1957 there was coming the 17M [P2] with a bigger body (but its basic "poverty special" -as dsl says- version was also a 15M. The smaller 12M remained in production, the 15M with this body-size was dropped. The [P4] ws only sold as 12M. The 15M came back in 1967, as the higher trim-lever of the [P6] (the basic one was still 12M).
The [P3] was only available as 17M, it's successor, the [P5] as 17M and the sixcylinder 20M. Same with the next successor, the P7. The 26M had a better equipment than the 20 M -only P7b, not P7a- and the 2.6 liter-engine.

The Escort I was the successor of the [P6] (12M and 15M), the Taunus [TC1] of the [P7b] (17M, and 20M], while the Granada followed the 26M [P7b] (but also the 20M-version). to add something more odd: Granada I and the 1977+ Granada II were also available with the ancient 1.7 liter V4-engine of the 17M ;)
