Without You! |

Why? With a LWB two-door-Volvo-Hearse of the 240-Series, there aren't too many chances to make a wrong guess. ![]() |

@ingo Nilsson was also an American singer as well as a Swedish hearse builder. He recorded a cover of Badfinger's 'Without You' hence dsl's joke. That was a link to the video of it. I preferred the original. Anyone else remember that e-mail of the guy performing it by signing 'I Ken Lee if livings without you' rather than 'I Can't live...'? -- Last edit: 2010-11-20 00:32:21 |

Much of his stuff deserved that reputation, but when he got his ducks in a row .... My favourite ever version of Mr Bojangles which is a classic song anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LntVoihEaP8 . |

So let's say it wasn't Harry Nilsson, but Yngve Nilsson who was responsible for the coachwork. ![]() |

Unless Harry was Yngve's stage name - more media-friendly?? Did Yngve ever release any LPs? Were they ever seen in the same room together? Thought not .... -- Last edit: 2010-11-20 01:30:04 |

Not that I know of... Same goes for the other Mr. Nilsson, as far as I recall. By the way: After Mariah Carey had assassinated the song, I really started to get along with Harry's interpretation. -- Last edit: 2010-11-20 01:38:34 |

dsl's last comment has caused a new thought-serpentine in my brain... Yes, they are the families of the known persons: http://www.baggerundbahnen.de/mengele.htm http://www.mengele-agrartechnik.de/ http://www.schindler.com/ |

Yes, ingo, you're absolutely right: Karosserie Kurt Welsch built it and they also did my friend's Audi Type 44 hearse. ![]() |

The same Kurt Welsch who played bass on 'Everybody's Talkin''?? |

Indeed some rare stuff - pretty cool! Bergadana built them and I doubt there were too many of them sold. Want a closer look? There you go: ![]() |
