That's an Isuzu Vehi-Cross with an unusual convertible conversion. |

Must be made specifically for the movie |

Gary Sinise's fancy convertible in the beginning of the barbecue scene is an Isuzu Vehicross convertible, a halo car produced for a very short time from '97-2001, selling only 4,153 units in the U.S.. It was never introduced as a convertible in the US. The jet sounds were added to give it a futuristic engine effect. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0183523/trivia |

It wasn't a convertion, it was one of the original concepts. |

This is not a VehiCROSS. this is actually the 2000 VX-O2 Concept. http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z2469/Isuzu-VX-02.aspx |

O2 or 02 ? Your link says 02... |

0 (Zero) I don't know why I typed O |

It says both 02 and O2 in the text but as O2 is the molecular form for Oxygen I guess O2 is correct. |

Unfortunately in the book I have the font makes it impossible to tell the difference between a O and 0...I always thought it was 0 but I guess O makes more sense as it is displayed as O2 -- Last edit: 2009-09-27 20:16:11 |
