![]() This is the vehicle used to bomb the American embassy in Nairobi, although the bombers actually used a Nissan Atlas in real life. -- Last edit: 2010-09-13 05:47:30 |

south african production? Headlights are usualy used in the bus versions... |

It's left hand drive, so I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't made in South Africa. The headlamps could have been replaced. -- Last edit: 2010-09-13 11:31:50 |

Maybe it was produced in South Africa, but not made for South Africa... !? But right, the headlights could even be replaced... |

Here's a T3 pick-up in Sweden with rectangular headlamps (not original, according to ingo, but easy to install): /vehicle_168425-Volkswagen-Pick-up-Typ-2-T3-1986.html -- Last edit: 2010-09-13 12:28:05 |

I'm not sure, if ever in South Africa any Pick Up's and Doka's were built. I think, rather not. And as Gag wrote, in ZA they only produce RHD-version. This was filmed in Morocco, so it's surely an used export from Europe. |

Blur of a sidemarker visible in badlymad's thumb, so Canadian-spec. -- Last edit: 2015-06-20 22:20:06 |

But that's not the same car as in the main shot, is it? |

It is the same one, but it definitely does not have side markers. As ingo said, this was filmed in Morocco. |
