The only difference on the rear of these cars is what is written on the white reflector between the tail lights. New Yorkers say "CHRYSLER" on the left and "NEW YORKER" on the right. The LHS simply says "CHRYSLER" in the center. Personally, it's too blurry for me to tell. |

If it's US based, it's probably the New Yorker. The LHS had the name on the rear quarter, just below & in front of the tail lights; since it's blurred, it's hard to know for sure. |

From wikipedia: "little separated New Yorker from LHS in appearance, with New Yorker's chrome exterior trim, gray body cladding, optional chrome wheel covers, column shifter and front bench seat, being the only noticeable differences." So according to this, this must be an LHS because it doesn't have the grey body cladding. |

 Could this have been filmed in Germany? The post box is US, but that could have been set there to make it look american. Stop signs look the same in USA and Germany.If you look very closely it has writings on the left and right of that white stripe. That makes it a New Yorker. Anyway... gray body cladding? Oh and ignore my idea of filming location. According to Gag Halfrunts comment on the main page this scene was filmed in Massachussetts. |
