Very strange to see "04" with metal/silver frame of grill. |

All Ikaruses had this frame silver. It became black after general renovations. New buses with black frame was from... I don't know, end of eighties? |

Sure all had, but in the late 1970's it dissapeared. The late 70's 280.11 and 26 from Warsaw already didn't have it. Well, but if it is really an "04", some still had to have it for a while. Maybe it depends on version. |

But in Warsaw some 260.04 and 280.26 has silver frames even till nineties. I doubt it is original in bus from the 1990. |

Some of them may have the replacement of the original, black grill, but buses like this was quite a lot. Maybe Ikarus lost few aluminium details in 1986/1987 (silver stripe above grill, frames of the doors, rubber stripes on the side instead metal ones) ( http://www.przegubowiec.com/bus/katalog/opis28026.htm ) -- Last edit: 2010-04-27 20:03:59 |

The second "Silesian" 260 from this series has an all black grill. |
