2006-04-04 17:38 | That looks like a seriously customized 1970 Ford Torino, or maybe even a Fairlane 500. |
2006-04-04 18:27 | 1971 Ford it is I think if the reg number is correct..... The vehicle details for NCD 815M are: Date of First Registration 02 08 1973 Year of Manufacture 1971 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 4000CC Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour YELLOW |
2006-04-04 18:30 | How did you find that out? |
2006-04-04 18:43 | DVLA website I guess. It can come in handy sometimes!.... And yes it's a 1971 Torino |
2006-04-04 18:50 | As Simon says the DVLA is good if you think you have a probable manufacturer and have the reg number. http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/index.jsp go to "vehicle enquiry" and insert reg number and manufacturer. -- Last edit: 2006-04-04 18:51:18 |
2006-04-04 22:34 | Wow. It's somewhat disturbing that anyone can get licence plate and find the owner of a car or truck that easily. On the other hand, it's certainly useful for us if we want to track down cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, and tractors in British movies. |
2006-04-09 04:24 | Do you know if there's way of looking up US plates? |
2006-04-22 19:50 | I don't think you can do that so easily here. Nearly a decade ago, some stalker in New York State used something like this to look for a girl he liked, and he killed her. NYSDMV removed this function from their website, and a lot of other states followed after that. -- Last edit: 2006-04-22 19:50:47 |

2006-06-08 16:28 | A six cylinder, maybe? |
2008-01-28 01:31 | I noticed running white light just by the parking lamp. Is this UK requirement? |
2008-01-28 01:56 | That looks like a knockoff Batmobile ![]() |
2008-10-15 03:19 | the grill looks like its from a falcon or cobra. in 70 the falcon used the fairlane/torino body |
