Optimism is a moral duty, but I'd say the chances of these surviving are slim... :D

There's the California smog test database, nothing else as far as I know.

Well, one day people may cringe at the thought of people destroying Ford Tempos and Chevy Luminas for sport. But right now, we view them as nondescript, ordinary, disposable older cars.If you look at it all in context, its permissable. These were common, everyday cars that people saw all the time back in '68.While I think it's fascinating that these cars NOW are highly collectible investments, yet were throwaway junkers then, I also remember that its still a movie from 1968.We look at the generic sedans that pile up in "Blues Brothers 2000" and think "Hey, at least they used mass-produced, generic sedans", but not too long from now,we may be surprised to hear people saying "aw man,I wish they spared a few Tauruses or Caprices."

You are absolutely correct, cko. Here is the perfect example that we discussed about that at /vehicle_258672-Chevrolet-Cavalier-1995.html .

Well, Im more upset at the fact these Derbies (and filmmakers) continue to ruin 35 year old antiques for stunts instead of newer, more common cars.Laugh if you want, but my favorite cars are AMC Gremlins and Pacers. People still actively seek these cars and use solid, intact examples solely to ruin. I wish theyd leave alone anything that would qualify for classic plates. I honestly would rather they use a luxurious, well-appointed 11 year old model thats still in good supply (as seen here)than any 35 year old survivor thats only getting rarer.Just my 2 cents worth.

and this could be a 210 and maybe not a Bel air Think about that? they had the same side, 210 was white side no lines and bel air was silver side with horozontal lines. the one fifty had 55 chevy side styling.
