The police car on left is a Dodge Diplomat or Plymouth Gran Fury. 1981-1989. |

I doubt you can get the specific year. 1981 to 1989 all used the same grill. The grill looks to be slightly "blacked out" between the vertical pieces, which makes me think Diplomat. But as for year... I'm sure 1981 to 1989 all used the same grill. Is there a reason why you are saying only "1981-1985" Diplomat? |

I knew it was a Dipolmat/Gran Fury but I didn't know which one at first. Judging by the shot of the trim around the taillights I think it's the Gran Fury, also when I freeze frame the letter looks something like Plymouth. |

1981-1985 because this car lacks the federally mandated third brakelight on the rear windshield deck which was introduced on all cars for the 1986 model year. |
