With the side trim a Chevette 'GL' or 'GLS'. The Kadett was also sold in the UK at the time, but front or rear not visible to say it was the Opel. |

GL confirmed as the GLS was discontinued in 1978. The raised side mouldings were introduced 1979 on the GL. October 1978 - GL 4 door saloon model introduced...with sports type alloy wheels and additional bright trim around the windows. GLS saloon discontinued.
