![]() I found it yesterday. About name on these I have to check further what would be best. It differs in the sources, and they were made in cooperation with several manufacturers. ASEA made the electrical equipment and Hägglund & Söner the body. But also Scania-Vabis and Motala Verkstad was involved for the chassis. They were delivered in january 1941 to Stockholms Spårvägar with litera F1, number A30501-A30520 |

Motala...named as the little town? btw. there is a nice "bildemontering"... In 2000 I've wrecked a 1964-Beetle there. A total shame, it was a real good car. ![]() |

The name derives from Motala Verkstad in Motala, they built railway equipment, ships and various mechanical things. And during the thirties even buses. They´re still around: http://www.motalaverkstad.se/index.php?sida=11 |

After more investigation I found out that they are registered as ASEA. ASEA was also responsible for the project, the other companies supplied with parts and final assembly was done by Motala Verkstad. |
