Besides the Rolls, someone can help with the ID of the car in far background?

The background car is a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air.

The Royce looks to be a Phantom II but the coachwork does not look at all familiar.

It's a 40/50 Phantom II with coachwork by Thrupp & Maberly

It is a pre-1CL Phantom I, the radiator is not tall enough to be a Phantom II and the vanes are in a box. The coachbuilder is most likely French and it is most likely a second body or at least a modified one with added wing valances.

Definately a re- body of about 1936- some ten years after the chassis was built. The front bumper is not a usual one for Rolls Royce either. RR used Wilmott Breeden harmonic stabilizer bumpers from about 1934 onwards. These featured lead weights in a cylinder at either end of a horizonal spring, largely concealed from view by the bumper bar. The idea was to channel vibrations, amplify them and then damp them out.
