philr, the reason why I was wondering if this is 1977/78 version due to the color arrangement of the taillight on this example. It is too blurry to tell... I may be wrong  |

The 1977-78 taillights had an horizontal amber flasher lens in the upper section and an horizontal red lower section while the 1979 had a vertical amber flasher lens and a vertical red side marker/reflector beside it. This one seems red in the upper section. |
