1972 LeMans Sport, I think. The GTO had a "GTO" badge in the grille; this one clearly says "Pontiac" like the LeMans.

This appears to be a 1972 LeMans Sport Convertible w/ the ram-air hood and the endura front nose option[color coded front bumper.] I have one very similar only in lucerne blue/rally rims. 1972 was the first year where the GTO was demoted to an option package to the LeMans series [ for the prev. 8 years, GTO was its own series.] So, in 1972, you could still buy a GTO in the LeMans series, but only in hardtop/coupe.For some unexplained reason the convertible was not called a GTO, but the hardtops were[perhaps a G.M. oversight?] So technically, there is no such car as a 1972 GTO convertible.
