The truck in the second thumbnail isn't the same one as in the main picture or the first thumbnail. It has a panoramic windshield, but I can't see anything else about it.

The one in the second thumbnail is an Autocar, though.

'Gloppitta-Gloppitta machine?' Uhh, okay.

Well, I didn't see the movie, so I wasn't sure of that. Not that I can't see why anyone would do so.

Did I mention that the Autocar in that 2nd thumbnail is not the same truck?

IIRC the main character, played by Jack Lemmon, is a strip cartoonist who draws his strip from real life. This machine figures in one of his stories and is shown in the cartoon he draws as making the sound 'gloppitta gloppitta'. It makes that sound in the film, too, though I think it's voiced by an actor and mixed with some mechanical sound effects.
