It's an Austin 4 x 4 Champ. With this reg., it must be an ex-army version ( powered by a Rolls-Royce engine ) that was produced between 1952 and 1956. It seems that the name Champ was only applied to the civilian ones, so I guess it's better to group this with the others. The chassis reference is [WN1]. -- Last edit: 2008-10-03 00:56:44 |

I think this particular 'WN1' (expendable in 1972) got exceedingly burnt out in a climactic scene at the end of the film. |
