Referred to as "Fenton" and described as an off-road racer and a V8. Appears as one of four cars used by charity Mission Motorsport assisting amputee drivers get back behind the wheels of non-specialized cars.

We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided
ROVER RANGE ROVER 1980
Registration number: CDE 149V
Body type: Estate
Colour: Blue
Date of first registration: March 1980

Fenton is probably only its nickname. Looks like a Bowler conversion - maybe an early Tomcat rather than successor Wildcat which seems to have had van shape. But these were individual builds so no solid rules.

Looks like Tomcat 100 (scroll down) - "The Tomcat 100 is probably the single most numerous off-road competition vehicle in the UK.... the 100 retains the wheelbase from its donor Range Rovers and Discoveries"
