Officially called the Excel II, to differentiate the previous first gen Accent-based Excel. These were locally built here and Made for RI by the name. Seems the first year for these, in that market, is 2005. I can't find any 2004 models of this generation. Addendum for listing Accent-based Excels in Indonesia... - Versions based on the first gen Accent [X3] were simply called the Excel, ran from 2001 to 2005. - Versions based on the second gen Accent [LC2] sedan were called the Excel II, ran from 2005 to 2007. - Versions based on the fourth gen Accent [RB] were called the Excel III, debuted in 2012 but taxi usage started in 2013.
