2006-04-09 04:53 | What a shame! 1957 Plymouth Fury's were rare even when new, and this one's equipped with the ultra-rare bumper guards that are worth about $500 each now. I guess if Halicki hadn't destroyed this one, John Carpenter may have when he filmed "Christine" three years later in the same town! Here's out it would have looked when new: |
2006-04-09 04:59 | hmmm I wonder why the Fury insignia is spelled backwards on the rear quarter panel ![]() |
2006-04-09 06:07 | Not only that - its right hand steering and the gas filler is on the wrong side as well. Probably a photo error - reversed negative or something. It is funny -- Last edit: 2006-04-09 06:09:26 |
2006-04-09 06:08 | Dont get me started. Or maybe we should just flip the pic over. -- Last edit: 2006-04-09 06:14:07 |
2006-04-09 09:28 | I'll flip the pic if you'd like, though I posted it that way for comparison purposes so it would resemble the original photo. I should have explained that. |

2008-04-10 21:45 | They did customize some right hand vehicles for australian export. I don't know if they converted any genuine fury's though. It is a shame. it looks like that car was a genuine fury with the Fury trim and bumper guards as mentioned above. Now I have to see the movie... |
