It might be a [764] which has had all the extras removed, but that is rather unlikely. It's much more likely it's either a plain 740 GL or an early 740 GLE.

zodiac ◊ 2022-11-11 12:36	There's no better picture than at 8:56, where no chromed wheel arches are visible, but there's no doubt it has shiny bits around the side windows. When I tried to do a search for U.S. brochures, the only one I could find was the 1985 https://www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Volvo/Volvo_US%20FullLine_1985.pdf . According to that the 760 and the 740 GLE looked the same, while the Turbo had black around the side windows. Further research is necessary.
