This is not an AMC. It's a Argentinean Dodge. Based on the American Dart. It was also briefly assembled in Spain. Usually "slant six" powered. |

Seeing that the movie was filmed in England largely, I'd say it is the Spanish built Dodge 3700 GT. |

Movie was made in UK, and I guess that it was easier to find a Spanish Dodge than a US Dodge? |

Are there any visible differences between Spanish and US Dodge. If no it is not so obvious that the car is from Spain (were they exported?). -- Last edit: 2007-12-04 20:03:15 |

Hi all, Just thought i would introduce myself. I am the owner of the two Dodge 3700GT cars that were used as the Jokers cars in the 1989 Film Batman. I will post my full story on how i got involved in the Batman movie and ended up driving many of the action cars you see in these images. I have been looking through some old photos and found a photo of me on set with both of my cars. (will upload soon) More film history and facts on the action cars and stunts later. Cheers Christian Karl Wolf-La'Moy Oxfordshire UK |
