As far as I know, no post WW2 Mercedes had the badge in the grill, but some owners liked it anyway and took the liberty. Two chrome strips beneath the doors and the chrome on the front wing and above the rear wheel arch suggests it's a 1956-59 220 S [W 180] or a 1959-60 220 SE [W 128]. However, some owners took the liberty to modify these cars even further, so I'm quite reluctant to say anything definitive. |

I don't think grille badge says 220 SE, but looks to me like 220 S (same as the black one). |
