imdb lists the production company as Mario Zampi Productions; Zampi also co-founded Two Cities Films who were bought up by the Rank Organisation in the 1940s. Rank bought one of the 20 DB3S customer cars - DB3S/116, 88 HME - which appeared in Checkpoint with a big bonnet intake, but recent photos show a smooth bonnet. So maybe the dots all join up neatly here .... |
