Morris-Commercial LC. Is that a diesel badge on the grille? |

Morris-Commercial CV twin rears longer wheelbase (2-Ton, 2½-Ton or 3½-Ton 138" wheelbase), rather than the LC (15-20cwt, 25-30cwt 117" wheelbase) van and truck. It looks like the (Saurer) diesel badge from the FV /vehicle_821396-Morris-Commercial-FV-1948.html therefore after 1948. Possibly used for export where normal control is preferred to forward control. /vehicle_790502-Morris-Commercial-CV-1945.html |

I tried to find a twin rears LC, now I know why I couldn’t! |

It must be the fore-runner to the Morris-Commercial NV (the 5-tonner available with the 4½ litre Saurer) released in September 1950 which mentions the "previous optional 6-cylinder 4¼ litre Saurer diesel". |
