About a 1958.Such a shame to wreck it? |

Buc84, if you think it's a 1958 then this would be a Hawk not a Grand Turismo model. |

Buc 84 is right this being an older model: the frame of the grille was thicker in 1962, and then it had no overriders anymore and no side spear. But the 1958 model still had parking lights on top of the front fenders and the 1959 model still had a logo on the grille. So I almost agree with him: 1960 Hawk. |

Actually, all 1956 to 61 models had some grille emblem. There should be one here and it's missing. OK. We know it is pre-62 by the shape of the front. Cannot be a '56 to '58 with no fender top parking lamps (of course, based on this one's condition, they could have been knocked off!). There should also be parking lamps in the side grilles if a '59 to '61 and I don't see them either. I would go with the '59 to '61 period as no real way to tell from what we can see. -- Last edit: 2010-07-03 18:46:38 |
