White in background. Not sure of the make for this model of Tracker/Vitara/Sidekick..., this scene is set in Canada, probably made there too. |

It has the clear parking light lenses so it has to be one of the GM versions. They made Geo, Asuna, Pontiac, and GMC versions of this vehicle in Canada depending on the year. |

It is indeed dependent on the year- GM Canada's brand strategy meant that from 1989 to 1991, all Geo models were known as Chevrolets and were sold at Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac dealers, including the Trackers. The GMC Tracker was replaced by the Asuna Sunrunner in 1992, and when Asuna was disbanded in 1995 the brand changed to Pontiac. Anyhow, this is probably a Chevrolet Tracker, seeing as it has the body colored crosshatch grille rather than the black grilles of the GMC/Asuna/Pontiac. |

as badlymad stated as this has the body colored "cross hatch" grille this is a 1991 Chevrolet Tracker. 89-90 Chevrolet (and Geo in the US) Trackers had the same grille but they were all gloss black. The GMC and Asuna use a completely different grille. The White bumpers and mirrors indicate that this is a top of the line CL model (LSi in the US) -- Last edit: 2009-11-15 10:56:03 |
