 Oh! :wow: Well spotted, @Mystery Man! Quite a spectacular one, because it's a van with major body modifications - an actual coachbuilt vehicle, as opposed to all these "longer windows, two-tone paint and ready" van-conversions. Shame it's hardly visible. I'd like an own page for it, but you decide.

This is a Mercedes-Benz T1 with panorama sideglass (those windows are HUGE - and expensive!), coachbuilt by Karosseriewerk Rappold of Wülfrath. While I don't know this particular car, I know Rappold bodied a few of these over the years in some variations, with many of them showing a W116-style rear update (usually located where we now see a hat! A hat!!! Don't you just hate this? [:rolleyes] )
