dsl ◊ 2020-03-16 00:10	The only visible difference between 8 and QV seems to be that QV has a "Quattrovalvole" script badge at the rear and red engine heads. So 8 by default, unless there's a rear view.

Model script maybe unreadable but it's obviously in one row and embossed on silver base ("mondial 8") instead of 2 rows with no base straight on the panel (first row "MONDIAL" second "quattrovalvole") 2. One external mirror. QV's had two. Keith Bluemel's book p.65.

I've got 2 Ferrari books - one bumper picture book which is actually quite good for a cheapo, and a heavyweight by Antony Pritchard which I'm beginning to discover is not quite as good as it thinks it is - some small gaps in detail ..... 993cc ◊ 2020-04-05 00:42	Well people in ferrarichat have said that there are inaccuracies in Bluemel's book too but must be minute details. Wiki and the net in general get the bad rap but just because they're printed and nice and shiny doesn't mean books are perfect..
