If MG it's MGA, but doesn't look right. And I don't think A-H 100 or 3000. Not a Triumph TR2 /3 or Spitfire. I'm nearly convinced by Swallow Doretti, with that double layer front bumper and the rear wing hump - example. Also made me think of a Turner like these - Link to "www.simoncars.co.uk" or Link to "www.simoncars.co.uk" - but not quite the same (although a different similar Turner might fit). |

Doretti's door starts lower on the body. Bumper has less detail on Doretti. I'd just go lower at cheap replica level considering the movie's amount of fakes. |

Ok - it's an A with 59+ rear lights. |

It was not a 1959 1600 Mk I...1959 was the last production year of the MGA 1500. The wife erroneously referred to it as an MGA 1500, but both MGA's in the film were 1960-1961 1600 Mk I. The customer's MGA shows the first grill (not the recessed grille of the 1600 MkII. The car on the rack was also a 1600 Mk I from the taillights shown in the outside photo, and the 11 inch Dunlop disc brakes behind the center lock spoke wheels. |

How about the (from memory) Hankook radial tyres? |
