I like the hornet(especialy this one) better then the 4WD version, known as the AMC eagle. |

The back bumper, taillights, and liftgate are all indicative or a 1971 or 1972. The front sheetmetal, from what's visible, appears to be from a 1973+ car. Note the 5 mph crash bumpers in the front, but not the rear. I think it's most likely an early car with the front from a newer one. |

I believe it is a 73. First year for that style (new nose) and it has the gas cap between the taillights. 74-77 had them under the rear plate. |
