1970+ for the slightly higher mounted rear plate light compartment. This new unit appeared since February 1970. The colour is "Antique Ivory" code 234 and the interior is tan. If you bought a 500 in such body colur you could choose between a black or this tan interior as visible through the thumb. I have lovable memories of many 500s in this colour in my late childhood. Both my mum and one of my grandfathers owned ones for a while but both were in L trim. Many friends, schoolmates parents had even F ones and I had often occasion to be driven home inside similar cars.
