we use one of these at work..very easy to get stuck...bounce like nobodys buisness when driven on main road...highly entertaining when you get a piece of metal stuck in the middle cutter..even more so when you smack one of the front cutters into a tree and the soft metal pin holding cutter to hydraulic arm snaps, causing you to drive straight over the cutter, oh yes..i know all about these!!..see that cab?. its an optional extra costing around a couple of grand, keeps the dust out of cab tho..hellish to drive in the current warm weather here in UK..very amusing when you drive one into the storage garage with the cab door open..one big bang as the cab door magically vanishes into a thousand tiny pieces, leaving only the metal hinges in situ and a large black rubber surround lying on the ground, no radio..they are taxed and MOT"d for road use and have indicators, lights and license plates..but for some reason they come from the manufacturers with tyres clearly marked "not for road use"!..so it has to be carted everywhere on a trailer! all the mower blades are operated by hydraulic oil through pipes which allways leak..if you try to force it through grass longer than its able to cope with, the pipe leading to the front cutter splits, shooting oil all over the place (spectacular when youre on someones front garden right in front of the living room window at the time)..if it breaks down it cant be towed as its hydraulically powered, turns on a sixpence tho, although if you try to turn too sharply the back tyres magically jump off the wheelrims (rear wheel steering), front wheels drive it.fuel is Diesel, fun to fill up as fuel indicator is a small spirit level type bubble on the rear box shape thing above the back tyre..one of the boxes is a tank for the hydraulic oil, the one on the other side being the Diesel fuel tank.
