It's 170 S-V [W136.VIII] or S-D [W136.VIIID] because has oldfashioned headlights and the cheapest wheelcovers.
220 [W187] had headlights integrated with fenders.
Its twin 170 S [W191] should have different wheelcovers.
1952+ because hidden bootlid's hindges.

I am sorry, but this is a 170 Sb (W191). It could be a 170 DS ( surprisingly also W 191). Year may be 52 or 53.

Please see the trunk without the chrommed hinges. Concerning hubcaps, the model 170 S-V (W 136 VIII or the Diesel version as shown by 130rapid) had the 16" wheels together with smaller hubcaps.

All 170 S had 15" wheels with wider hubcaps which are those in the photo. There also differences in the bumpers, but you cannot trace them from this photo.
