Hello everyone!
My name is Jessy and I live in Belgium. Antwerp to be exact. My native language is Flemish/Dutch but I also speak and write in English.
Although I am a girl, I have a big crush on cars, esp American cars. I'm not into brands or care what model the vehicle is, just the car itself is what interests me. The look, the design, the sound of the engine, how it behaves on the road, that's what I look at.
My favorite car would be the Ford Gran Torino from the series Starsky & Hutch:

I think it's just awesome and oozes America everywhere you look at it.
My first car was a secondhand black Seat Ibiza from 1992, 900 cc, and although it had a great roadability, the rest of the car was to cry for. Turn signal blinkers that only worked when they wanted to, rearview mirror dropping off for no reason. Windows that wouldn't open or close etc. Anything that could go wrong with it went wrong.

My second car was a red Suzuki Swift from 1996, 1100 cc, and gosh I loved that car.
I only had to have its seat uplifted because I'm a small person but other than that, the car was a little racing machine.

It was a joy to drive and it was my buddy, partner and pal. I still miss it terribly. If it didn't got totalled in that stupid caraccident, I'd still be driving it today.
Today I drive a metal grey Huyndai Getz, 1000 cc and so far I'm very content with it. Although it's a more modern car with two airbags and servowheel and automatic windows, I'd still prefer it the old fashion way more. I had more feeling with the car that way. Also due to the airbag the steering wheel is much thicker and I find it harder and more uncomfortable to drive the car. I get cramps in my hands after driving it a long time. I prefer the smaller steering wheels because you had more grip on them.
Will post picture of it some day.
As a student I used to drive a Honda Camino moped but I don't have any pictures of that.
Well that's about it guess. If you have questions, fire away : )
