I went yesterday night to the Belgian avant-première of Miami Vice...
I've posted (without pics) the major cars I've noticed, a.o. : Crockett's F430 Spider F1, Alonzo Stevens' Continental GT, a white BMW 6, some Cadillacs, and a 2006 Dodge Charger (TBC, I'm not 100% sure). To mention as well: some splendid speed-boats.
Concerning the movie itself: well, it's without surprise, and don't expect the big production with a lot of "tralala", it's not. Music/sound could have been better , actors are OK but should definetely not be nominated for the Oscars, and the story is a "classic" and is well reflecting the episodes from the 80's (which is good, coz' if you think of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible... ).
I should post soon the pics related to the 2nd season of the TV series (1985)
I just saw this. It sure didn't dissapoint me even though I didn't think taking Miami Vice to other millenium would be good.
Nearly as good as Heat and Collateral. I have to mention gunfire sounds in Mann's films. Amazing. Last battle scene in this film and the scene after the bank job in Heat.
It would have been fun if the had featured the Testarossa and the 365 in the film. Even in the background as a refence to the series.
** Chrysler 300C (Maybe hemi or even SRT-8. Don't know and don't like. Grille was modded)
edit: I didn't like the blue flames from the lovely F430's exhaust nonsence during the short car chase scene. It doesn't suit Ferrari.
