I never told anyone this before, but my dad went to school with and later dated the daughter of one of the high ranking members of the government, I think she was like the child of either Assad Sr. or of his foreign minister, which at the time would have been Abdul Halim Khaddam. She's now the member of a powerful and wealthy Mecklenburgian noble family. |
