TV Movie in two parts. Story of François Salmon, founders and head of automobile maker SALMON (not Salmson despite some eyeblick (*) to this defunct manufacturer). His family is facing the events of 1936 ("Front Populaire" winning French election, French strike of May-June, Civil War in Spain, ...) with various fate : François fears a bankruptcy and his far right newspaper is in a sharp decline in sales; his wife is alcoholic; their elder daughter is paranoid facing men and her future charge of the company; the youngest one is studying philosphy and close to some communist. (*) for example : poster of "voiturette et cyclecar SALMSON vainqueur du grand prix 1921" photoshoped to enlarge the M and so to erase the second S. ![]() Part Two is focusing on 1937, Léon Deloncle and La Cagoule (fascist-leaning and anti-communist terrorist group). A shorter part is something like a summary of 1938-1940 and the final fate of all the characters. The main car is used by F. Salmon but I'm unable to name it : ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() NOTA : 1) timing are given to keep chronogical order but could change of value (maybe 1h17 or 1h28'30 instead 1h20). 2) additional pictures (car by car) once movie approved 3) no aircraft ![]() Some out-of-field picture (seen during part One) : ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-02-02 05:30:05 |
