Strange 13 minute film which starts off as a pompous lecture by JB Priestley about international politics and tensions in central Europe, and then suddenly becomes a cheerful documentary about Switzerland in the sunshine with lots of jolly Swiss folk doing lots of jolly Alpine things in traditional costumes. Lots of Swiss trains as well. But - sadly - no yodelling or cuckoo clocks. http://www.screenonline.org.uk/film/id/1301267/index.html 2 unidentifiable trucks A very strange form of primitive golf with huge bendy clubs where they hit something (a ball? a big snail?? a small cheese?? a gnome's head???) towards men with giant bats for no apparent reason. Hornussen is another indigenous Swiss sport, which is like a cross between baseball and golf.
