“Actually, there is no hell. Although I hear Los Angeles is getting pretty close.”

This was a very nice movie. Albert Brooks was funny, as was Rip Torn at his most cheerful, and Meryl Streep was mesmerizing.

Upgraded to HD, mostly from Criterion, except for two pics taken from HBO's streaming version as Criterion significantly cropped the picture and with that parts of the vehicles.

It's more ironic that the INTERNET MOVIE DATABASE(!!!) can't spell a legendary actress' name correctly not once (above), but twice:

And why one of these two entries is mere trivia and the other a spoiler, and why we need two of them to begin with, I have no idea.
