| Despite the extra protection tube under the license plate this must be a Dauphine (with aftermarket accessories), not an Ondine. Ondine always had front indicator lights (except Spanish built FASA-Renault Dauphine) and wheels with holes. Supposing that the license plate GH75 is original, it is a 1957 model (which matches the new plain wheels). -- Last edit: 2022-08-28 23:31:11 |

| This is not a Renault but a 1932 Citroën C4 G Grand Luxe Familiale. These C4 were easily recognisable by the V-shape in the sun visor, only the 1932 G Grand Luxe had these vent doors in the bonnet, the Familiale was the only sedan version with the spare wheel mounted on the front fender. | 2022-08-28 00:03 | ||
| Panhard never built a car with such a split windscreen, so this one must have a coachbuilt body, and therefore most probably a pre-Panoramique version. I know of a similar model built by Crouzier, but that one has a lower windscreen and top mounted wipers... | 2022-08-27 23:56 | ||

| Yes, by the new bumper without overriders (one can see the aluminium strip on the bonnet going all the way to the front wheel) it must be a model after August 1955. And by the lack of a parking light between the doors it is older than July 1956. Front doors have got vent windows, so almost sure this is a 1956 [Z1] Luxe Spécial. | 2022-07-18 23:58 | ||

| Great find ! I agree this must be a 1957-58 [Z12] (the wheels exclude the 1959 model). In 1957 there were 126 Dyna's exported to the USA, in 1958 this number raised to an astonishing 283... |
2022-05-04 17:36 | ||
| Actually the two-tone Panhard is a 1958 [Z12]. It's still got the old bigger wheels with plain rounded hubcaps, whereas the 1959 [Z16] model had smaller wheels whith hubcaps that had a black, red and silver deco in the centre. Also the fact that the upper part of the doors has the same colour as the roof and the lower sides indicates a 1958 version. | 2022-05-04 17:02 | ||

| 1963 [L6] Grand Standing. | 2022-01-04 20:34 | ||
| New roof line, new taillights, ribbed bumper: 1963 [L6]. I'd say this is a (non Tigre) Grand Standing (shiny strip over the rear window and on the sides of the boot, but single line writing next to the right taillight). | 2022-01-04 20:31 | ||
| No suicide doors at the front, rounded rear roof line, heavy aluminium deco above the (old) taillights: 1961/62 [L4] Grand Standing. | 2022-01-04 20:19 | ||
| This must be a CT. Only Tigre versions had these new wheels with dics brakes, the C (and the very first CT) had ribbed drum brakes with wheels 'around' them. As far as I can see the right exhaust pipe is just outside / under the picture... Besides, if the car dates from 1965 it can only be a CT, as the C was only available during the 1964 model year. |

No, the Juvaquatre had built-in headlamps ![]() This is a 1940+ Fiat 1100 L (or ALR, BLR or ELR). Because of the low placed windshield wipers, I think it will be the 1949-54 ELR. |

| Straight dashboard, small indicator trumpets, small round reflectors... rather an ID 19. | 2020-08-23 19:08 | ||
| Yes, 1956 [Z6] Luxe Spécial (no parking light under the B-pillar, so still the old taillights, but already the new, thicker headlight bezels and painted instead of shiny strips on the hood). | 2020-08-23 19:01 | ||
| Yes. By the shiny strips on the hood, this is still a version with all-aluminium body. No overriders on the bumper: late 1955 [Z1] Luxe Spécial. | 2020-08-23 18:49 | ||

In this picture /vehicle.php?id=1414475 one can clearly see the new, 1963+ front end ![]() Indeed the chromed trumpets would make it a DS. But... the black windscreen rubber and the straight dashboard were only seen on ID models, and also the interior door handles seem to be rather grey plastic than chromed ones. Also since July 1959 DS's had a black steering wheel, whereas the white steering wheel was used on ID's until September 1964. Therefore I'd think this is a 1963/64 belgian built ID 19 Superconfort or IDéal 19 (both names were used, depending on which amrket it was sold). But there is a problem... Belgian built ID's of these years had a parking light on the B-pillar, and the uppar half of the dashboard was painted black. I've never heard of ID's specially equipped for export to the GDR. Interesting case ![]() |

| By the chromed gutter it is either a 1964 17 Relmax (or Relmax S), with a basic engine (17 B [L6]) or wih a Tigre engine (17 BT [L7]) or a 1965 17 B Super Luxe ou Confort S (17 B [L6]) ou the faster Confort S (17 BT [L7])... | 2020-04-20 21:20 | ||

Yes, this is either a 1958 Z12 or a 1959 Z16 Grand Standing. On the 1958 and the first 1959 models, the upper part of the doors (around the windows) was in the same colour as the roof and the lower side deco. The later 1959 models had the upper part of the doors in the basic body colour. See the difference in these two pictures: And yes, the taillights are a bit strange on these Panhard Dyna Z The upper (red) part is taillight and indicator (one bulb with double wiring 20/5 W) the lower (amber) part is stop and reversing light (one bulb 15 W). I guess the amber-over-red taillights seen in some modern pictures are remakes.Here's our Panhard: ![]() |
