I think this might be a series 2 and there's no spoiler just a shadow. But can't say for certain so I'll go with 1982+ s3. 2023-06-16 03:23
I'm sure it's not a ten hour movie this... 2023-06-16 03:09

"...Built on a Type 439 chassis, this supremely elegant Cabriolet is one of ten clothed by Batista Farina... Their engagement with the Aprilia began from the model’s introduction and before the war, they built bespoke Aprilias for road and competition use, as well as two-door cabriolets and four-light and six-light Berlinas, which were offered in the factory catalogue..." https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/lancia/aprilia/1946/542513

Not everything matches but super low volume usually meant each car was unique. Other similar cars:

Can't really be of help but I think that what a dealer/importer calls something in a specific ad and point in time is not necessarily accurate all of the time. Sounds strange but.. If available, badging and written documentation should be checked first. 2023-05-30 00:45
Safe to say this an S3 as this is when official US/NA imports started. 2023-05-30 00:09
Not a s1 with knock-offs as you can count the five lugs... 1972+ US car. 2023-05-30 00:01
^as opposed to a 206? Not a great chance of that anyway. US s3 car from the wheels and the fact that exports to NA officially started with this version. 2023-05-29 23:50
^don't remember if it was in the script or something but this is definitely no s1 or '69 as these are no single bolt/knock off wheels. Most probably an s3 as this was the start for NA cars. 2023-05-29 23:45
Don't know if this is the same car, could possibly be but is indeed the same version of 6C 2500. 2023-05-29 23:20
1962+ bonnet vent? 2023-05-25 17:49
It's a Spider with the roof closed. Note the small rear window ends in a vertical line while the fixed roof GTB has a larger "tear drop"-like quarter window 2023-05-25 17:29
Has the high side trim above the fender so "Sprint Veloce". 2023-05-25 17:09
Filmed in Atlanta so possibly a 49-state 116.29 car. 2023-05-25 17:02
GTV in NA came after 1981 so in 1979 this is either 1975 Alfetta GT or 1978 Sprint Veloce. 1978s had new federal bumpers but not sure if these are present here however I think I see "Alfetta GT" badge on right side. 116.29 code is for cars outside California. If this is a Californian plate/car than it would be 116.15. edit: seems we're in LA so 116.15

Some of it explained here /vehicle_250213-Alfa-Romeo-Alfetta-GT-11615-1977.html , hard to find a good source, info comes from different places.

More seen here /vehicle_1789806-Alfa-Romeo-2000-Spider-Veloce-10524-1971.html . This kit has some 959-like panels among other stuff. 2023-05-25 16:10
Picture is too low res to say if possibly 1975+ or 1978+ but it is a kamm-tail Veloce Spider. 2023-05-25 16:05
Also seen here /vehicle_1789792.html 2023-05-25 16:05
Yet again the ex-Fangio #2529. "...Chassis #2529 also appeared in a silly German/French movie in the very late 50ies...Romy Schneider did the stunt "riding" on the back of the car..."

Guess it's in the "walks and talks like a duck" category .. I thought the Turbo look consisted of a wider body/wheels, spoilers and the simpler whale-tail rather than the whole box tea-tray thing (which wasn't an option)? Not sure about this but I am sure people will retrofit anything even if not factory-offered. 2023-05-18 22:41
930? I think there's a tea-tray spoiler visible?

Don't know about this, even with the blur everything looks 550 to me..

Visible in slow motion 403 with unusual two-tone paint scheme at around 40 min mark.

Can't see a facelift so early sedan imo. 2023-05-11 02:00

I think you're right.
2023-05-08 21:50
I know. So not 1974. Also check this tachometer with boost gauge at the bottom at about 1hr 28 min. There might be another view earlier in the movie. It makes no sense to use a dash from a 930 Turbo just for this shot of the gauge which is half visible anyway and nobody would care really. Unless of course you're shooting a real 930.

Any details on that? I'm talking about the car seen through out the movie before the crash not the crashed one. 2023-05-07 18:30
Agree, Exige doesn't have this body indent across the front. 2023-05-07 03:10
This is worse than the latest by Ferrari. Very hard to tell if the top opens or not! But it probably is a Spider if you focus on the rear pillar shape which is apparently more triangular on the Spiders vs rectangular on the fixed roofs. Side views of Spider first and then coupe:

Screen time is quite limited in this first film for 5 stars, 4 is more than enough. I guess it's in the "it's so cool it gets 5 stars" category :??: 2023-05-07 00:01

I can't remember ever watching a more "petrolhead" movie from the point of view of the petrolhead's mentality. Extreme 911 Turbo obsession is the only way I can describe it. 2023-05-06 18:44
I'd give this car 5 stars. It gets so much screen time (it's like a 1.5 hour 930 promo) and is such a central part of the plot it's so much more than just the hero's car. It's an obsession.

Exhaust tips on the GTS are rectangular (sort of) instead of round. 2023-05-06 03:55
Can't say if GTS from the front. 2023-05-05 01:59
Not a Tributo but a 488 Pista. Another angle on the 458 page. 2023-05-05 01:51
It's a moped-car type of thing for 16 year olds that you're not allowed to take it on the highway. At least I hope they don't! 2023-05-05 00:10

Seems testing single seater racecars on NZ public roads wasn't a figment of the screenwriter's imagination!

A 1957 as said. 2 stars, a main character drives it in this short scene. More info in this 1978 article:
