dhill_cb7 ![]() | @baube are those the 1988-1989 or 1990-1991 wheels? Hard to tell with only a small portion exposed. I think they might be the former. | 2021-06-22 18:51

eLMeR ![]() | It's not a panel, but a truck made from the chassis+cowl option (xx02 Chevrolet code). So I think it should have a "Chassis Cab" class. And as 1961 light-duty model, it is an Apache truck. Is it a 127" (3.23 m) wheelbase ¾-ton C-20 truck or a 133" (3.38 m) 1-ton C-30 one? Or maybe the "small" 133" wb 1½-ton C-40 model? Unless we can read the model number on a fender emblem, shouldn't we just say: ⇒ 1961 Chevrolet C-Series Apache? (with Class: Cars, Chassis Cab) -- Last edit: 2014-11-21 15:20:18 |

DJ MC CJ ![]() | I know this post is very late, but Jonckheere did in fact export buses to the USA. I know California, Florida, and New York had them. They were powered by Detroit Diesel Series 92 engines (six cylinders) with Allison transmissions. Pictures of these buses are very rare. -- Last edit: 2014-08-25 21:46:42 |

night cub ![]() | 1972-74 for sliding side door | 2012-11-10 08:37
an_unusual_eye ![]() | it's a either a Celica GT Liftback (1978-81 for the body style), or a Celica Supra Mark I (1979-81). hard to tell for sure, but it LOOKS like it has the longer Celica Supra nose, and i can't make out even a flash or a hint of the "brushed aluminum" b-pillar accent that a Celica would have, where the Supra used a black glass b-pillar trim. additionally, while the "Baby Supra" alloys were optionally available on the 4 cylinder Celicas, they weren't all that commonly seen. put those three points together, and my vote is for a 1979+ Toyota Celica Supra Mark I [MA46]. |

zodiac ![]() | The car doesn't have chrome around the door handles, which the 260 had, suggesting this is a 240. Wheather it's a 244 or a 245 is more difficult to say as can only be judged if at least the rear door is seen. I think it has the 1981+ bigger bumper. |

cieraguy ![]() | I'm thinking that's what that blur is. 1982-1985 then. Also it can't be a 1981 because the 4-door hatch wasn't sold that year. -- Last edit: 2011-11-29 02:04:26 |

ShortCappy ![]() | I don't know if Jonckheere did that or if it's another manufacturer responsible for the assembly process. I've never heard of Jonckheere until I had identified the body on this bus. |

2011-11-28 18:39 | ||
Drujon ![]() | Actually per the grill and the two strips on the turn light, this is a 1976. | 2011-11-28 16:09
Drujon ![]() | Those two are stretched Sedan DeVille's From what I can see, the closer one could be a 1980-83 and the following car is a an '82/'83. | 2011-11-28 16:08
Drujon ![]() | 1980-82 Fleetwood Brougham per the bright trim on the body-side molding. 1983+ has body-color molding with no bright trim. | 2011-11-28 16:05

rjluna2 ![]() | 1973 or later Volkswagen Sedan 'Beetle'. | 2011-11-28 13:14
Gag Halfrunt ![]() | At the risk of asking a stupid question, did Jomckheere ever export to the USA? | 2011-11-28 10:47
ShortCappy ![]() | No. The bodywork is definitely a Jonckheere Jubilee. As for the make and model, either it's a Volvo B10M or a Leyland Tiger based on the position of the front axle under the first passenger window that matches that on the above coach. It's not a Scania K112, a Scania K113, or a DAF SB 2300 due to the position of the front axle on those coaches being about 1 foot behind the position of the front axle on the above coach. |
