I'm not sure how we missed this detail but 1986 L trimmed models appear to have an all black waterfall grille per the brochure: http://www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Ford/Taurus/Ford_US%20Taurus_1986.pdf - I haven't seen one with that grille yet and googling "1986 Ford Taurus L" did not shed many results either. Also, it appears (have not validated yet) that 1986 L/GL may just say Taurus on the front doors without a trim badge? Could the trim badge have been added for 1987 as well? 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Hard to Kill (1990)	Skid	Definitely not a Z28. Steel wheels, assuming they're factory, would indicate a base-model Sport Coupe, although these wire wheelcovers are aftermarket. The primer on the B-pillar might suggest a Type LT badge used to be there, though. The 250 six was standard on the base model, but the vast majority were ordered with V8s. Mostly the 305, though the Z28's standard LM1 350 was available as an option even on the base Sport Coupe.	2018-06-17 22:46
