dsl ![]() | Dating as 76 as side trim not visible, but again not sure about the long rear badge - echoes of /vehicle.php?id=98567 but again no Turbo spoiler. -- Last edit: 2012-11-17 21:47:19 |

4x4peru ![]() | Will be interested in the 20703 code? Do not recall a swb 3/4 ton with pickup bed. Perhaps for specific cab & chassis use? I have seen a few like that in airport service use but not 4x4. As always I look forward to your search results. | 2011-10-01 17:31
Neptune ![]() | It’s a 10703 (10 = half-ton, 703 = short wheelbase) for sure. I was in a hurry (as usual) and didn’t take the time to scrutinize the extra thumbnail captures. Likely a modified half-ton, although I have came across a 20703 code, which (if confirmed) would suggest at some point there was a three quarter-ton short wheelbase version. It would not surprise me. |

4x4peru ![]() | Understand the scale issue of the larger wheels... but the bed is shorter than the cab & hood. A long bed is longer than the cab & hood. Not sure if the fuel openings were in the same place those years or not? This fuel door appears to be more forward where I recall the lwb models being closer to the rear tire than the cab? Will defer to Neptune on those details. | 2011-09-30 18:28
rjluna2 ![]() | Indeed by the first thumbnail provided by 3loader looks like long wheel base version. These large wheels is making an optical illusion that looks like it is shorter than the actual wheel base. | 2011-09-30 17:20
4x4peru ![]() | Neptune, Isn't this a K10 modified w/ 3/4 ton drive line & aftermarket accessories? Looks SWB! | 2011-09-30 16:52
jettalover ![]() | Prop license plate at the time of filming. Now it's a real plate belonging to a '87 M-B 560SEL says www.bar.ca.gov. -- Last edit: 2011-09-30 04:24:28 |

Neptune ![]() | 1979 Chevrolet K-20 Cheyenne Fleetside Aftermarket (non factory) suspension lift, wheels, and tires. |
2011-09-27 02:32 | ||
3loader ![]() | It's low-rider in movie, so probably it was modified. | 2011-09-27 02:29
rjluna2 ![]() | It looks like corrupted restoration of either 1969 Chevrolet Caprice Hardtop Coupe or Impala Custom Coupe. Here is my dilemma on this example. I see thin trim at the rocker panel, but has rear wheelcover accessory that removes the rear wheel well trim. The C-pillar inscription/badge is removed. Comments/Rebuttal? |

night cub ![]() | 1987+ Toyota Tercel Coupe on the left | 2011-09-27 00:24
night cub ![]() | With the chrome trim around the taillights,the placement of the badge, and style of the wheels, I believe this is a 1981 GL (Front-wheel drive). I don't have my external harddrive connected to double-check right now. | 2011-09-27 00:23
karoomay ![]() | 1987-89 Nissan Sentra to the right. | 2011-09-26 23:40

somename ![]() | My mistake; optical illusion. By the way lack of the CHMSL makes it a 85 Fleetwood Brougham stretch. Also that's not the same Caddy in the last thumb; check out the plates, -- Last edit: 2011-09-26 18:26:35 |

somename ![]() | I believe the front end is from an 86 Fleetwood Brougham. Actually are you sure this is a stretch? The roof doesn't appear to be much longer then the hood, which was about equal in the regular sedans. -- Last edit: 2012-08-10 04:15:03 |
