IRT_BMT_IND wrote If it's recent footage it's a Nova or TMC, but movies often use older stock footage. Most of the current RTS fleet in New York is TMC, so it should probably just be tagged as that.

most of the rts fleet is nova bus most of the tmcs are long retired

Neptune wrote Gen.1, Gen.2, Gen.3, Gen.4 and so on mean the generation of the vehicle. In this case the car is the second generation
of the SAAB 900, hence (Gen.2) Other vehicles have Mk.1, Mk.2 and so on, or Series I, Series II and so on. Even other forms
of generation classification are used on the site, but those three forms I listed are the most common I think.

Antp could explain better ...

I understood what it meant, but thanks. Glad it's fixed now.

ford_guy wrote I was referring more to the 2000 model. All it needs is the grey bumpers. The black bodysides would have been correct for 2000. Besides, remember how I said "besides the most minute details." The numbers on the doors would be EXTREMELY minute :p

Certainly this one is worse:

Well I could not explain why Gen1 instead of Gen2 though, except using the reason given by Atom :D

I do not know who is doing that, but for my curiosity what is US/CDN-spec visible?

ford_guy USI doubt it's a 2003+ model as the side turn lenses aren't fully amber as they would be on those newer models. 2009-03-15 03:56
Neptune USI want to say this one is a 2003+ model in XL trim given the grille plastic is darkened like all XL trimmed 2003 onward models.
But at this distance, I can’t be 100% sure.

ford_guy USOh I'm sorry. It was indeed labeled as an F-350. And I changed it to the generic "E-Series" because I believe that it could be an E-450 too as some ambulances are E-450's. But this probably is an E-350 so I'll change it back.

carchasesfanatic ESOh no it wasn't me, i just realize because of your comment that i wrote "F" instead of "E", but no i didn't label it as E-350 once you changed it, isn't it one though? 2009-03-15 03:04
ford_guy USYes, you did write that. Did you know if it was an E-350 for sure? I wasn't sure if you had been the one who put it in or not. I apologize though. 2009-03-15 02:59

ford_guy USThese actually aren't so bad. Besides the more minute details, the only major thing I see wrong is that they don't have grey bumpers.

But anyhow, the one in the main image and in the thumbnail on the second row is a 2001-2002 model. The one in the first two thumbnails and the last one is a 2000 model.
